Greetings -
So it has been a very busy summer for Kenneth and I! Between work, weddings and trying to buy a house we have barely had time for anything else!
We both had our adoption physicals done in June and those are notarized and ready to go! We have completed our joint interview for the home study and I (Courtney) have completed my one on one interivew! Kenneth is scheduling his interview as we speak! We hope to have our dossier complete and off to Africa mid August!
Wishing you a magical day~

An Introduction
Greetings -
Kenneth and I are very excited! In just a few hours we are going to meet some other families that are also in the process of adopting from Ethiopia! It is one thing to sit up at night and read blogs of families on the process. It sure will be something different when you can put names, faces and families with the process.
We will be sure to let you know how it goes!

Acceptance Day
Greetings -
As I sit here tonight I have had the great pleasure of spending the last few hours reading a blog and following a familie's story about the same trip we are about to take! Today at 4:38pm we received the official acceptance into America World's Ethiopia adoption program!!! So now we let the paper pregancy begin. Along with the news of acceptance we were given the first of many pieces of paper that need to be signed and sent to the agency! And of course we signed immediately and it is ready to be mailed in the morning!

The Choice Has Been Made ~
So after much research and even more discussion Kenneth and I have chosen the country of Ethiopia to bring our new little one home from. The reasons are long and based on so many things but we both agree that our time at Disney (and opening Disney's Animal Kingdom) that Africa holds a special place in our heart. We hope to share more about the country in future posts so that you to may feel a bond to a country a world away!
